Skipsea, Road to nowhere (21st July, 6 am )

I drive on to Skipsea to follow up on another ‘lost road’ lead. Yorkshire Post (March 2022)

A road to nowhere: at Skipsea the coastal road to Ulrome has disappeared into the sea, and is a stark reminder of the power of mother nature, showing clearly the impact that coastal erosion is having on some of Yorkshire's most scenic tourism spots.

A beautiful place. Some of the photos I capture here are amongst my favorites; thank you Charlotte Sams of the Bristol Photography Club for your encouragement. So I will let the photos tell the story ...

It is hard to imagine where the road went in the first place , it just kind of hangs there, to begin with i thought maybe it went to the beach, but then realised the beach was way down. Maybe it was a car park. who knows, i like the blog and photos
