“Hya John, Plume here, Miranda did phone to tell me about your blog but her message wasn't v clear, then Jimmy told me check BaseFook so I did. I'm pretty sure I took(?), and orchestrated the "Hard' photo as I have them in my album, inc one that says 'Hard as' - the van was Hardcastle's parked outside No 5. The guy next to Miranda I only remember as 'Fingers', a magician/piano player who stayed at 5 Carol St. I can't remember where I knew him from or how he came to be there, or where he went, but that's true of a lot of that time isn't it? People just turned up, friends of friends, or people we'd stayed with on tour etc....Interesting to read about it. I was trying to figure out the max No of people living/staying at No 5 at it's most populated. I know that when I got back from SF me, Toby and Juliet and maybe Paul a bit later all lived in my room until other spaces were available.  There was a time when it felt like everyone came back from the Albert most nights and we did all sorts of mad things. I have a set of photos where we all have on those plastic bloodshot eyes with holes in the middle. One of you in a mac and carrying a suitcase???? Do you have a copy of that. Tom was there, Sally, Rog, Tony (Fabian?)”.
