In '93 I remember reading about the dramatic collapse of the Holbeck Hall Hotel due to landslip and coastal erosion. The picture above is from The Scarborough News. Nothing is left of the hotel now. The 2nd pic shows where Hotel was, beyond the fence. ITV Calendar's Richard Whiteley was reading the news when the hotel chimney stack dramatically collapsed while Calendar was live on air (thanks Andy Youell for this link).
